  • Welcome

My name is Angela and am a portrait photographer in Abbotsford, BC. I specialize in family and newborn photography. I am a mom of four beautiful little humans who inspire me everyday. I love to capture what is not tangible in this little journey we call life. Whether you have a specific vision or idea in mind or you might not know where to start. Either way I’d love to chat and go over preferences, styles and ideas and come up with something unique to you. My goal is to create timeless photographs to cherish forever and to capture your true raw emotion. Be you, be Authentic.

    xo, Angela

Although she but little she is fierce part 2

So I had been dreaming up the girls room for some time…..okay forever ago. I wanna say it was the one room I was truly looking forward to creating when we were building. I had discovered this beautiful wallpaper and decided it was a must. Of all the things the wall paper was the inspiration. I had already decided on a half wall as it is a big statement and well as soon as I saw it it was paired with some wayne scotting. In my head I had imagined it on the window wall however when I started sorting out the room and the dynamics of two cribs in one room it better suited on the larger wall. More of a feature wall. That and the fact that it was my first time wall papering and The window with trim was a bit more then I was wanting to take on.

Before we had moved I had these great little ikea cribs for the girls with the intention of painting them. However when I got them in the room I discovered I really liked them as is. Total bonus! Painting furniture (all those bars times two)

I took this room slowly so by the time I was finished it was no longer the girls nursery but more of their toddler rooms. Which I believe most of the elements were able to transition well. There are so many elements I love from the cradle my grandpa made for me to the gold banner from their first birthday. The DIY flowers were made after I had used them in a photo shoot and was a good complement to the wall paper across. I also made the love sign and blanket ladder with some good old elbow grease some gold spray paint and a handy husband. The LOVE sign is one of may favourites and a total inexpensive way to create something fun for the wall. I was in the middle of taking these when the girls decided they would join me so I through them in the beds so they wouldn’t destroy the room before I had a chance to capture it. I naturally had to get a few shots of them too;)

can’t wait to start on the next room!
